INGREDIENTS:
- 600g Arctic char fillets
- 70g chopped almonds
- ½ tbsp grated ginger, 3 cm piece
- Juice and peel of 1 lemon
- 1/3 red chili finely chopped
- 2 pcs chopped spring onion
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 3 tbsp mixed sesame seeds (black and white or just white)
- 1 1/2 tbsp tamarind sauce
- 1/3 cup toasted coconut flakes
- 1/3 cup olive oil
METHOD:
- Heat the oven to 180°c .
- Place the char fillets in an ovenproof dish.
- Mix everything except the char flakes in a bowl and then apply to the char.
- Let it stand for about 30 minutes and put it in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until everything is golden and the char is cooked.
- It’s great to serve this with good, fresh salsa, such as mango and cucumber salsa.
